How do I find my residential address associated with my IHI?

How to find and update the residential address linked to your Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) through MyGov.

Updated over a month ago

If you have a registered Individual Health Identifier (IHI), you can find your residential address associated with your IHI by following the steps below.

If you do not have an IHI, you can apply for one here first.

Troubleshooting tip: If you're having issues linking your IHI, this is usually because there is a previous address on your HI account. Try updating your home address to a previous address on your Thrive Rx account. To check if it's worked, go back and attempt to book your appointment β€” this should now be available.

Find your residential address associated with your IHI

  1. Log into your MyGov account.

  2. Click on the My account dropdown in the top right, select your Profile then navigate to Contact details.

  3. Next to Address, click Edit.

  4. Check that Medicare is selected (or My Health Record if you don't have Medicare) to share your home address with this service. Click Update to save your changes.

  5. If your home address is empty, input your residential address. Click Update to save.

Once you have shared your home address with Medicare or My Health Record, this is the residential address associated with your IHI.

Link your IHI to your Thrive Rx account using your residential address

When prompted during onboarding, provide the residential address associated with your IHI. We will attempt to identify your IHI number using this residential address.

If you're not prompted during onboarding, update your residential address in your Thrive Rx account settings under Address.

If we cannot identify your IHI using your address, you have the option to use your Medicare details instead. Contact us if you don't have Medicare or are having any issues linking your IHI with your Thrive Rx account β€” we're here to help.
