Your biomarker dashboard is your personal health data hub. It gives you a clear, visual overview of your pathology results and tracks how your biomarkers change over time. Here's how to read it.
Accessing Your Dashboard
Your biomarker dashboard is available in the Thrive Rx platform. Once your pathology results are processed, they're uploaded automatically and you'll receive a notification that your results are ready to view.
Understanding the Layout
Your dashboard organises your results by category (e.g. metabolic, hormonal, inflammatory, cardiovascular). Within each category, individual biomarkers are displayed with:
Your result — The measured value from your most recent blood test.
Reference range — The standard range reported by the pathology lab, representing what's considered normal for the general population.
Visual indicator — A colour-coded or graphical indicator showing where your result falls within the range.
What the Indicators Mean
Your dashboard uses visual cues to help you quickly see where your results sit:
Within range — Your result falls within the expected reference range. This is generally a positive sign, though your clinician may still discuss whether there's room for optimisation.
Outside range (high or low) — Your result is above or below the reference range. This doesn't necessarily indicate a problem — context matters. Your clinician will explain what an out-of-range result means for you specifically.
It's important not to self-diagnose based on individual markers. Biomarkers interact with each other and need to be interpreted as part of a bigger picture — which is exactly what your clinician does during your consultation.
Tracking Trends Over Time
One of the most valuable features of your dashboard is the ability to track changes across testing cycles. After your second round of pathology, you'll be able to see:
Whether specific biomarkers have improved, stayed stable, or moved in an unexpected direction
How your results respond to changes in your care plan, lifestyle, or treatments
Long-term trends that help your clinician fine-tune your approach
Trends are often more meaningful than any single result. A biomarker that's improving over time is a strong signal that your care plan is working, even if the absolute number hasn't yet reached the optimal range.
Reference Ranges vs. Optimal Ranges
Your dashboard displays standard reference ranges from the pathology lab. During your consultation, your clinician may also discuss optimal ranges — the levels associated with better health outcomes, which are often narrower than standard reference ranges.
For example, a result might be "within normal limits" by lab standards but still below the level your clinician considers optimal for your age, sex, and goals. This nuance is an important part of the Thrive Rx approach and will be covered in your consultation.
When to Contact Your Clinician
Your dashboard is a tool to keep you informed — but it's not a substitute for clinical interpretation. If you see a result that concerns you, reach out to your Thrive Rx clinician rather than searching for answers online. They can provide context and guidance specific to your health profile.
Your clinician will always walk you through your results during your scheduled consultation, so you'll have a dedicated opportunity to ask questions and discuss what the numbers mean.
